After a long lock out. Sometimes it felt like it was never going to end. Players will be (1) _______ to begin voluntary workouts tomorrow, weekend morning anchor Maggie Stokes is live at the thunders practice facility, you lucky thing, Maggie uh, and this is a brand new (2)_______!
I know! And they’ll finally be able to step inside and (3)______. That’s after all of this lockout mess. Well, right now it won’t be an official practice and it’s a (4)______ practice only, but tomorrow the doors will finally be open for those players to start practicing. Starting today, players can start talking to their (5)______ about their contracts, but no written or verbal agreements can be made until next Wednesday. Now the lockout is likely over after that tentative (6)_______ between players and owners last week, but here are still dozens of issues they need to workout. Which include, drug testing, draft age, and player (7)_______. But, if everything goes as planned, official practice is to (8)______ December 9th, and the first Thunder home game will be December 29th, against the Dallas Mavericks .

The Thunder is lead by one of my favorite new NBA players, Kevin Durant. Why is he one of my favorites? Because of his character. He seems like a guy that really has his head on straight, and he’s poised to be one of the next great players in the NBA. A few months ago he sent a message out on Twitter that he wanted to play flag football, a college student Tweeted him back and invited him to play with him and his friends. Not only did Kevin play, but he came to pick the student and his friends up from their house and took them to the game.
